Sparkling Rosé Sangria

Not your average Sangria - this Sparkling Rosé Sangria is the perfect drink for warm spring or summer days. Strawberries, raspberries, cherries, and sliced citrus soak with rosé, infusing the fruit with the booze while giving the rosé a delicious fruity flavor. Top it off with some sparkling water and you’ve got yourself a refreshing (and beautiful) Sangria.

In order to get the most flavor, this recipe requires soaking for at least four hours.

Sparkling Rosé Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of rosé

  • 5 strawberries, sliced

  • A handful of cherries, stems and seeds removed

  • A handful of raspberries

  • 2 tangerines, sliced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • Sparkling water

  • Thyme for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the rosé with the berries, citrus, and maple syrup (2 tablespoons If you like your drinks on the sweeter side).

  2. Cover and place in the fridge for at least four hours to allow the fruit to really flavor the wine.

  3. When ready to serve, fill a cup a little more than halfway with the rosé and fruit, then top it off with sparkling water.

  4. Garnish with thyme and enjoy! Don’t forget to eat the wine-infused fruit!
